Spring blooming ‘Pink Minuet’ adds a touch of pink sweetness to any garden space. The flowers have a subtle, dark centre with pink petals that sit atop a mound of dark green leaves. It grows 20-25 cm (8-10 in) tall and spreads 40-45 cm (16-18 in). This hybrid phlox blooms perfectly between Phlox subulata and Phlox paniculata varieties, therefore fueling your garden with colour all spring long.
The Pink Minuet Spring Phlox can be used in borders, edging, as a ground cover and in mass plantings. It does not spread as eagerly as other types of phlox but still has lots to offer. It is tolerant of salt and can withstand poor soil with little water. In zone 3-8, fully sunny, well drained, spaces the ‘Pink Minuet’ can flourish. Be sure to cut plants back and tidy up dead foliage after it is done blooming to encourage thicker foliage and a chance for reblooming.
