Garden with a Winner!™

Aquilegia caerulea Kirigami™ ‘Deep Blue and White’ (Deep Blue and White Columbine)

Sturdy upright flower stems sit atop a bushy mound of deeply-cut green foliage. The blooms are a beautiful deep blue & white; they are large and face up to the heavens. Blooms are nearly twice the size in the Kirigami™ series, in comparison to some more common columbine varieties, and arrive in the late spring to early summer months. The Deep Blue and White Columbine grows at an average rate to sizes of 35-60 cm (15-25 in) high and 30-50 cm (10-20 in) wide.

It is excellent for mixed or woodland borders, containers, mass plantings, rock gardens or as a cut flower-lasting up to 2 weeks in a vase. Aquilegia caerulea Kirigami™ ‘Deep Blue and White’ is salt and shade tolerant, rabbit resistant, and attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Plant one in zones 4-9 to help it reach its maximum potential and fully experience its beauty.
